Minor Procedures & Wound Management

You may occasionally need a procedure that doesn’t require a visit to the hospital. Your doctor is well trained to perform minor surgeries under local anaesthetic in our well-equipped treatment room.

These include procedures such as removal of skin lesions, repair of lacerations, fibreglass casts for fractures, Implanon (contraceptive implant) insertion and removal.

Your doctor will charge a separate fee for these procedures. Please enquire about the cost of these procedures at your consultation.

Wound Management

Your doctor and your nurses are skilled in understanding the factors that influence wound healing for both acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulceration prevention, management of skin tears, burns & blisters, lower leg ulcerations & the diabetic foot.

Nurses support your doctor in delivering education and wound management services, aiming to improve wound healing and ensuring the correct products are used to enhance and improve patient outcomes. 

Payment is required for dressing products used.
